Your home should be a safe, comfortable space where your electrical system performs reliably every day. At Wilson River Electric, we provide a full range of residential electrical services designed to keep your Cornelius home running smoothly, efficiently, and up to modern standards.
As more Cornelius residents make the switch to electric vehicles, having a reliable home charging solution is essential. We install Level 2 EV charging stations that dramatically cut charge times compared to a standard outlet — so your vehicle is ready when you are. Our licensed electricians handle all permitting and panel assessment to ensure your home’s electrical system supports the upgrade safely and efficiently.
Older homes in Cornelius often run on panels that weren’t designed to handle today’s appliances, EV chargers, or home office equipment. Wilson River Electric performs thorough electrical panel upgrades and safety evaluations, replacing outdated breaker boxes with modern panels that improve both capacity and code compliance. If your breakers trip frequently or your home still runs on a fuse box, it’s time for an upgrade.
From knob and tube wiring removal in older Cornelius homes to pool and hot tub wiring for your backyard, our team handles the full spectrum of residential electrical work. We also perform general repairs and installations — including lighting updates, ceiling fan installs, outlet replacements, and electrical troubleshooting. No matter the job, we work cleanly, safely, and up to current Oregon code.
Cornelius is a tight-knit community, and the contractors residents trust are the ones who show up on time, communicate clearly, and stand behind their work. Wilson River Electric was built on exactly that foundation. We’re a locally owned, family-operated business — not a franchise — which means every job reflects our personal commitment to quality and our neighbors’ satisfaction.
We are fully licensed and insured (CCB# 225412), and we pull all required permits so your electrical work is documented, inspected, and protected. Whether you’re a homeowner tackling a remodel or a business owner planning a new buildout, you’ll always know what to expect: honest estimates, skilled technicians, and work done right the first time.
Wilson River Electric also provides heating and cooling services for Cornelius homes and businesses — including furnace maintenance, heat pump installation, AC repair, and mini-split systems.
